Spar UK is launching revamping its own label household range and adding four new products to help retailers grow sales and widen the category to cater for customer demand.
The four new lines are Spar Antibacterial Spray, Spar Non Bio Washing Powder, Spar Concentrated Pure and Gentle Fabric Conditioner and Spar Original Washing Up Liquid. All existing products have been reformulated and packaging has been updated to give greater standout on shelf for the consumer and highlight key product benefits on front of pack, said Spar.
According to Spar UK, the refreshed range has been benchmarked against leading brands to ensure great quality and offers retailers higher margins than major brands, while its new packaging has a more modern look and feel.
Susan Darbyshire, Spar UK brand director, said: “The average household category shopper spends almost twice as much as the average shopper per trip at their local convenience store. This presents Spar retailers with an ideal opportunity to take a share of this profitable category.
