Spar brand is updating its sharing confectionery range with the launch of two new lines, to keep the range fresh and relevant for shoppers.
Spar brand’s sweets range has seen fantastic growth since its launch two years ago, with annual sales over £4 million.
Strawberry Bon Bons and Fruit Chews have been added to the selection both price marked at £1 per 170g sharing bag.
Several of the lines in the range have also been improved including Clotted Cream Fudge, Mint Humbugs and Mint Selection, to create a higher quality range of products.
Susan Darbyshire, Spar UK brand director, said: “Our Spar brand confectionery range continues to be a real success story, with sales two years on from launch growing at 25% year on year.
“Our own brand confectionery sales now represent 5% of Spar’s total confectionery category sales – almost doubling over the past two years.
“These new additions to the range, combined with quality upgrade on three lines, brings us bang range up to date with design, flavours and textures in the confectionery category,” she said.
