Sprigster, the award winning non-alcoholic shrub infused liquor from critically acclaimed Pythouse Kitchen Garden in Wiltshire, is delighted to announce that it will now be stocked and distributed by the UK’s leading wine and spirits supplier, Enotria & Coe.

As a newly launched product within a highly competitive category, Sprigster is set to raise the bar for non-alcoholic drinks and its listing at Enotria & Coe is testament to this.

Simon Hurley, chairman of Sprigster Drinks, said: “We are delighted to have launched our alcohol free drink, Sprigster, with Enotria & Coe, the UK’s leading Wine and Spirit supplier. We have bought from Enotria & Coe for a while at Pythouse Kitchen Garden so we feel we have got to know them as a customer. Our values of meticulous product knowledge, the creation of strong partnerships, and a commitment to excellence in everything we do are perfectly aligned. We feel positively that they will look after Sprigster as well as they have looked after us.”

In addition to this news, Sprigster was recently awarded a Gold Star in the Great Taste Awards last month. Sprigster has also been shortlisted as a finalist at the Great British Food Awards 2021 in the ‘Non-alcoholic spirits, beers and wine’ category, fending off stiff competition.

The shrub infusion is inspired by the seasonal and home-grown produce sourced within Pythouse’s centuries-old walled garden, and its unique blend of ingredients acts as a delicious dry alternative to a Gin & Tonic. Sprigster is notably versatile and is a great natural alternative to add to non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails alike.

Theo Maxfield, Pythouse Kitchen Garden’s mixologist, notes: “Sprigster is reminiscent of a shrub without being syrupy, it has a gentle natural sweetness rather than that of added sugar. The addition of hops and fennel, and bitterness from rhubarb brings it into the realm of an aperitif – similar to that of an Italian gentian liqueur. Making it perfect in place of a fortified wine or aromatic liqueur in spritz cocktails or for making a low alcohol variation on a negroni bianco.”

Sprigster can be bought as a single 70cl bottle (RRP £26) with the option to buy a hand-made wooden gift gift box (RRP £25) containing a 20cl bottle of Sprigster, two 150ml cans of Fever-Tree tonic, natural drinking stars and dried fruit garnish.
