Staples selects Blake’s flagship products to be stocked nationwide

Blake, the UK’s largest envelope stockist, has won a major mainstream retail contract with office supplies giant Staples. From the beginning of April 2015, Blake’s flagship Premium paper and envelope ranges will be stocked in all 112 Staples stores throughout the UK.

In partnership with Staples, Blake has worked on making product selection easy for the customer at the point of sale. With clever use of graphics, packaging and real product sample swatches on the shelf, customers will be able to select their required product from Blake’s Premium Business, Office and Pure ranges. With more than 40 different products to choose from, in a range of 12 colours and several textures this is important to help customers make the right choice.

Dominick Sanford, head of EU planogramming for Staples Europe, said: “Staples UK Retail will be launching a selection of quality paper products from Blake’s Premium range into its UK stores. The ranges will be available in small packs which benefits the customer by lowering price points whilst maintaining the quality of the Premium ranges.

The team clearly understood what the customer needs in today’s retail environment and worked hard to develop the range of products to cater for a wider audience.”

To ensure the in-store experience is consistent across all the stores Blake used its own merchandisers to implement the roll out.
