Starbucks creates nine new jobs as new store opens at Edinburgh St James Quarter Shopping Centre

A new Starbucks® store opened in the St James Quarter, Edinburgh, at 9:00am on Thursday 24 June, creating nine new jobs. 

To celebrate the opening, the store will offer customers complimentary Starbucks gift bags and host bespoke coffee tastings throughout the launch day. 

Customers are invited to enjoy their favourite Starbucks® beverage or try the summer menu, including the Coffee Chocolate Crunch Frappuccino, Caramel Brownie Cream Frappuccino, Lemon Iced Tea and Peach Iced Tea.

Sam Paterson, Starbucks district manager said: “We are excited to open our new store in the St James Quarter and becoming a part of the local community. The team are closely following the latest guidance from both the government and health authorities to keep everyone safe.”

Located within Edinburgh’s leading shopping district, the store has a contemporary design, offering customers the opportunity to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and relax with the comfortable seating and free wi-fi.

Starbucks® coffee is 99% ethically sourced and accredited by Conservation International under the C.A.F.E. Practices programme. Starbucks® offers a 25p discount to all customers who bring a reusable cup when purchasing a drink.

The new store is conveniently located at Starbucks® St James Quarter, St James Crescent, Edinburgh, EH1 3AD and open from 7:00am until 8:00pm, Monday to Saturday, and 8:00am – 8:00pm on Sunday.
