Starbucks opens first take-away only store in Swansea

Starbucks® first take-away only store in Wales, will open at Uplands Crescent, Swansea, on Thursday 13 January, creating 5 new jobs.

Customers are invited to enjoy their favourite Starbucks® beverage or try Starbucks® new Winter menu, including one of three vibrant flavours from the new Oat Latte Platform: Strawberry & Vanilla, Dark Cocoa & Orange or Honey & Hazelnut. Starbucks® UK proudly serves a broad range of dairy alternative options, including oat, soya, almond, coconut, and the exclusive Starbucks™ Original Nut Blend, which are now available for free.

Anthony Rees, Store Manager, said: “We are excited to open our new take-away store in Swansea and look forward to welcoming the local community. The team will continue to closely follow the latest guidance from both the government and health authorities to keep everyone safe.”

Starbucks now offers take-away store formats to better meet customers where they are throughout the day for increased convenience, connection and personalisation. Customers looking to enjoy a handcrafted beverage while on the go, can order in store or via the Starbucks® UK App, available for iPhone® and Android™, to order ahead, skip the queue and collect to takeaway. Delivery will also be fully available to all customers via Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.

Starbucks® offers a 25p discount to all customers who bring a reusable cup when purchasing a drink.

The new store is conveniently located at 54-56 Uplands Crescent, Swansea, SA2 0PG and open from 8:30am until 6:00pm, Monday to Sunday.
