Superdrug is searching for the next big thing in health and wellbeing

Following on from the success of Superdrug’s first health and wellbeing Open House event last September, the retailer is on the lookout for exciting, new healthcare and wellbeing brands to launch their products and services in the high street chain in store and online.

Putting health and wellbeing at the forefront, Superdrug is looking to expand its offering by opening its doors on Thursday 12 May to offer brands the chance to showcase their products and services to the key buying contacts. From new talent looking to bring an idea to life, to emerging brands in healthcare innovation, Superdrug is excited to introduce the newest brands on the market to its health and wellbeing experts.

Superdrug’s first health and wellbeing Open House event saw leading fitness brand Pineapple launch in stores this year. Superdrug is encouraging brands to follow their lead by applying to the next Open House, which is designed to make it easier for smaller companies to pitch to a national retailer in a friendly and informal way.

Whether you have an existing product or a completely new innovation – Superdrug wants to hear about it. Superdrug is particularly excited if you’re a wellbeing brand focusing on super foods, protein, beauty vitamins, nutraceuticals and fitness.

Healthcare director at Superdrug, Michael Henry said: “We saw a diverse range of brands last year from pet health products to sexual health, which resulted in successfully launching Pineapple into our ever growing healthcare portfolio. We are very excited to be holding another event in May after the success of last year, and we hope to discover the next big thing in health and wellbeing.

“Open House is a unique opportunity for suppliers to meet with our healthcare team and pitch their products to launch with Superdrug in stores and online. Supporting new and innovative talent in health and wellbeing is something we are committed to, ensuring that we are continually growing our product offering to stay relevant to our customers.”

The Superdrug Health and Wellbeing Open House will take place in Central London on Thursday 12 May. Suppliers who would like to attend should email for further information.
