Supply chain consultancy to address planning and optimisation at LogiCon event

Leading end-to-end supply chain consultancy, Crimson & Co, will provide practical solutions to delivering supply chain success, while managing stringent budgets at the LogiCon conference in Amsterdam on the 6 February 2013.

Jonathan Gibson, head of logistics at Crimson & Co, will take to the ‘Advanced supply chain planning and optimisation’ stage on the first day of the main conference to address key issues affecting supply chain professionals today.

Delegates to the workshop will learn how to optimise their supply chains in today’s ever-evolving marketplace to gain and maintain competitive advantage. The presentation will introduce an understanding of:

·       The drive for tax benefits, talent management and supply chain efficiency having driven varying degrees of above market planning

·       How the organisational disruption of this has been viewed as a price worth paying

·       The standardisation this requires is contradictory to the growing complexity of the commercial environment

·       How we need to re think our approach to centralisation and standardisation in today’s market

Gibson said: “Through the workshop, we aim to explore with those in attendance how they too can optimise their chains, despite budget restrictions and how to ensure they can meet changing consumer demands.”

Attendees will also discover how Crimson & Co delivers unparalleled expertise in streamlining the end-to-end supply chain. Gibson will demonstrate, with real life examples, steps to put in to place to achieve successful and efficient supply chain processes.
