Tate Galleries, Barilla Group, Mattel, Link Group, Busy Bees and other leading organisations from Europe to speak at Amazon Business’ global procurement event “Reshape”

Amazon Business today announced speakers for the upcoming virtual procurement event, Reshape, launching globally for the first time on the 10th of March. Procurement leaders from leading European and international organisations will share their strategies and best practice of driving savings and speed within their organisations:

o    Eliano Apicella, Purchasing Director for Indirect Materials, Services, Energy and Investments, Barilla Group, will sharehow enterprises are utilising digital purchasing solutions to increase agility and efficiency and accelerate growth in a session called ‘Procurement strategies for the C-suite. Also joining the session will be procurement leaders from Johnson & Johnson and Woven Planet Holdings.

o    Kim Hur, Associate Manager for Indirect Global Procurement for Mattel will talk about how businesses can use automation and real-time analytics to scale in a session titled, ‘Buying for growth: Strategies to scale with your business’

o    Vincenzo Maniaci, Chief of IT at Q8 Kuwait Petroleum Italia will discuss ways to use intelligent procurement, how to automate and simplify processes for teams, track spend and purchasing patterns for improved decision making, and scale digital procurement through integrations and payment solutions in the session ‘Delivering on the digital agenda’

o    Andrea Deichert Oswald, General Director Supplier Diversity and Procurement Operations for Union Pacific Railroad will dive in on ‘Fostering socially responsible procurement’ to show how businesses can easily identify and source from credentialed diverse, local, and small businesses. In addition, she’ll discuss how digital tools can be used to check purchasing patterns and track progress with sustainability goals

o    Harry Walker, UK Procurement Manager, Busy Bees and Daryl Stead, Head of Procurement, Link Group UK will talk about how they are simplifying employee purchasing with a one-stop shopping experience, customised buying policies, and convenient delivery options in their session on ‘Empowering employees with digital purchasing’

Reshape, presented by Amazon Business, is the annual event for procurement leaders across public and private sectors, enterprises, small businesses and start-up organisations. The free, virtual, half-day event is returning for its second edition in the US on the 9th of March, while launching for the first time across Europe and Japan on the 10th of March, bringing together industry experts and procurement leaders from the private and public sectors. 

The event’s 15 interactive sessions will uncover insights on driving organisational objectives, such as cost reduction, digital transformation, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Each session will offer a variety of engagements such as collaborative discussions and debates.
