Tesco partners with IRI for market insights on UK business


Tesco has announced that it has selected global insight agency, Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), as its market tracking provider for its UK business. 

IRI’s solution will enable Tesco to have access to market information via IRI’s Retail Advantage Solution. Retail Advantage will provide insights into Tesco’s performance by category and supplier versus other major supermarkets, with support from an on-site insight team.

“We are extremely pleased to be partnering with such a respected global retailer as Tesco and helping them uncover and drive new growth opportunities across their business,” said IRI President and CEO, Andrew Appel.

IRI was appointed as the result of a competitive tender and technology trial.
