Tetra Pak, the world’s leading food processing and packaging solutions company has appointed Charles Héaulmé to lead the Europe & Central Asia region as of January. In this role, Héaulmé will be responsible for 55 countries, 43 sales offices, 13 production locations, 4.550 employees and € 3.5bn turnover. He succeeds Adolfo Orive, who has been appointed to lead the Tetra Pak business in the Americas.
As vice president of this recently shaped cluster, Héaulmé (48, French) assumes the responsibility for a diverse geography with a changing business environment for Tetra Pak. Competition of both carton and alternative packaging suppliers is increasing. At the same time dairy and soft drinks consumption – core categories for Tetra Pak – is under pressure. Leveraging on a reshaped organisational structure, Héaulmé’s goal is to drive growth and increase competitiveness to maintain Tetra Pak’s leading position in the industry.
