The Original Factory Shop revives Woolworths’ WorthIt! brand

Leading discount retailer, The Original Factory Shop (TOFS), has launched WorthIt!, an exclusive range of great value everyday essentials that resurrect the best of an old high street favourite.

The WorthIt! range revives the much loved Woolworths concept of providing customers with everything they need to kit out their homes at the lowest price possible, without compromising on quality. The brainchild of former Woolworths CEO Tony Page, the WorthIt! trademark is now owned by TOFS.

In celebration of the launch, The Original Factory Shop has commissioned a limited edition WorthIt! catalogue.

Taking inspiration from the traditional Woolworths archive; the catalogue showcases the best the WorthIt range has to offer while paying homage to the Woolworths ethos of great quality products at affordable prices.

Customers can purchase the 100 strong range from as little as £1 and items vary from everyday cleaning products to halogen heaters, hoovers, kettles and toasters, with the most expensive product a microwave coming in at just £40.

Hannah Legg, marketing & multi-channel director, at The Original Factory Shop, said: “With half of British families already shopping at discount retailers, customer demand for great value on everyday necessities is increasing and this became more pertinent when Woolworths left the high street. While we already provide great discounts on top brands, along with great value own brand products, our WorthIt range is a step beyond this.”

Savvy shoppers looking for high quality, great value products are expected to snap up the range, available online and in store, with first time buyers and university students also predicted to be big fans of WorthIt!

Legg said: “We’re committed to providing genuine quality and value to all customers. Our WorthIt range reinforces this ethos and we’re excited for it to become a much loved range to all our customers.”

Top picks within the range are a Complete Bed Set for £12, a Cylinder Vacuum at £29 and outstanding value kitchen items, such as a Slow Cooker and 16 Piece Cutlery Set at only £8 each.

The Worth It range launches in store and online on Monday 12 October.
