Tiendeo.co.uk, a market leading website and app for online catalogues and offers, has implemented a new function in its mobile app for managing loyalty cards. The launch of this new tool strengthens the Spanish start-up’s position as an invaluable point of reference for shoppers looking to save money on their purchases.
From now on, users can have all their loyalty cards on one device and thus enjoy the discounts and benefits without having to take them physically in their wallets.
To do this, they should choose the retailer loyalty card they want to include and scan the barcode that appears on the back of the card with their smartphone camera. It is also possible to include the loyalty card manually, by typing in the code next to the barcode.
With this new feature in the Tiendeo app, consumers can enjoy the rewards of these services with only one click. On the main screen of the mobile application, along with the latest deals, shortcut buttons to each of the loyalty cards will appear, allowing instant access to them.
“We have seen an increase in the desire of consumers to save time and money on their purchases. Therefore, at Tiendeo we continue to improve our platform day by day, listening to the needs of our users to offer practical tools that facilitate the buying process and through which they can enjoy the best deals and discounts,” notes Eva Martin, CEO of Tiendeo.
“Mobile devices are essential tools for many consumers and apps facilitate the organization of many of our daily tasks. We are convinced that this new feature will be well received by our users, helping them organize their loyalty cards in a simple way in order to enjoy the associated benefits immediately.”
Founded in 2011, Tiendeo is a Spanish start-up with the aim of revolutionizing traditional printed catalogues and mail shots, allowing companies to reach a wider audience and communicate with their target audience with greater efficiency. Its main objective is to facilitate purchases for its users and allow them to save as much as possible. Therefore, its app (also released in 2011) has been very successful, reaching 7 m downloads so far. The application offers consumers the chance to easily plan their purchases, especially due to the geo-localized information on the offers and stores of their favourite retailers.
