Jackson: promoting Turtle Wax

Turtle Wax, a world leading brand in car care products, has announced a sponsorship deal with television presenter, racing driver, entrepreneur and motoring journalist, Rebecca Jackson, and her Porsche racing team.

The deal, which runs from March to October 2014, includes Turtle Wax branding on Rebecca’s car, helmet, race suit and crew kit. The 2013 BRSCC Production Boxster Champion and regular contributor to Telegraph motoring will represent Turtle Wax throughout the year, fully supporting the brand and its car care range on her blog, social media platforms and in her national newspaper column.

Turtle Wax chose to partner with Jackson due to her popularity among car and racing enthusiasts. Her video reviews for CarBuyer currently receive three million hits a month and her television appearances include presenting ITV4’s ‘I Want That Car’, a live 25 hour Le Mans programme for Nismo TV and an appearance on Sky News to discuss motoring issues.

Speaking about the sponsorship deal, Turtle Wax sales director EMEA, Mark Siddle, said: “We are making big steps in the market and securing this sponsorship deal with Rebecca Jackson highlights our aim to position Turtle Wax as the trusted, go-to car care brand in the UK.

“Rebecca’s experience and credentials make her the perfect fit and will help us show case the brand and our products at their very best. The team here at Turtle Wax is looking forward to working with her over the coming months and making the most of the opportunities that this agreement will create.”

Jackson said: “With a busy season ahead, support from one of the world’s largest and well known car care brands will really make all the difference. I am confident the deal will provide mutual benefits for both my team and Turtle Wax.”

The sponsorship deal is part of Turtle Wax’s bold marketing plans for 2014, which include branding at major sporting events such as The Six Nations and La Liga and its first TV advert in four years, featuring a voice over from celebrity, Joanna Lumley.
