Two-man delivery firm, Arrow XL, extends cut-off of 48-hour service for retailers

Arrow XL, a leading UK two-man delivery specialist, has launched a 48-hour delivery service for retailers.

Geared at improving the customer experience, this new service extends the cut-off time for retailers to place orders up to 9pm, instead of the previous cut-off of 4pm, giving retailers and their customers extra time to make orders and benefit from the 48 hour delivery service.

To benefit from the service retailers have to send across details of the order by 9pm. This allows their customers extra time to browse and buy items online and still experience a quick and efficient 48 hour delivery service.

This new service is available to 98% of the UK mainland population, Monday to Saturday, six days a week.

Gary Monk, CEO of Arrow XL, said: “Offering a seamless solution for our clients and their customers is part and parcel of what we do, so we’re pleased to be enhancing our service to 98% of the UK mainland population. In extending the cut-off time for retailers to send orders to Arrow XL, we’re offering their customers more time to purchase and still benefit from a flexible and convenient 48 hour delivery service.”

Jim Roebuck, logistics director, Shop Direct, a client already benefiting from this service, said: “By extending the cut-off time to book a delivery with Arrow XL, we can offer greater convenience to our customers and improve the overall experience. Being able to offer quicker delivery services can make the difference in a customer choosing to shop with us. Arrow XL is continuing to innovate its service proposition providing opportunities for us to differentiate ourselves in the marketplace.”
