Tyrrells, the crisps brand, is celebrating the festive season with the launch of Merry Crisp-mas Crisps. Made from red and white potatoes, these crisps are hand cooked at Tyrrells Court Farm to give a satisfying ‘deep and crisp and even’ crunch, according to the company. Packs will be available for a limited time in independent retailers nationwide from 1 November with a RRP of £2.19 for a sharing- sized 125g bag.
Only available in the run up to Christmas and made in small batches from the highly prized Lady Claire and Highland Burgundy potatoes, the Merry Crisp-mas Crisps are lightly seasoned with a sprinkling of sea salt. The eye-catching red and white crisps make a delicious and distinctive addition to any Christmas party or winter snacking occasion, Tyrrells claims.
Cath White, Tyrrells marketing manager, said: “We’re proud to be growing our red and white potatoes locally in Herefordshire. Our Crisp-mas Crisps provide the perfect opportunity to deliver humour and provenance at this most entertaining time of year. Ideal for when the snow falls ‘deep and crisp and even’ around us come December.”
