UK menopause brand, Health & Her, launches first TV advertisement

The UK’s number one dedicated perimenopause supplement from Health & Her is launching its first TV advert due to be premiered on 2nd May.  It will be the first advert in the first ad break of the hotly anticipated second Channel 4 Davina McCall menopause documentary.

Health & Her launched in 2019 and has gone from strength to strength, from a start-up in Wales to launching its supplement range into mainstream retailers, such as Tesco, Holland & Barrett, Sainsburys, Amazon, Superdrug and Ocado, in the last 18 months.

Based on research undertaken with thousands of women, Health & Her Perimenopause Multi-Nutrient Support is an expert formulated blend of vitamins, minerals and botanicals designed to help support in nine ways when women first start noticing changes – mentally and physically.

Co-founders, Gervase Fay and Kate Bache are on a mission to disrupt the women’s health category to provide every woman going through perimenopause and menopause access to products and services to help them discover themselves again.

Health and Her offers women next-generation support along with the expert formulated supplements, including an app which allows women to track their symptoms, learn about their body, explore expert advice and build a personal plan including exercises for meditation, breathing and CBT.

Seventy-two per cent of womensaw an improvement to their symptoms when they used the Health & Her app regularly (twice a week or more) over a three-week period.  Health & Her currently has a rating of 4.6 on Trustpilot.

Gervase Fay, cofounder of Health & Her says: “We decided to launch our first TV advert during this crucial documentary on menopause as we want to continue to ignite the conversation around perimenopause and help more women identify the signs early.”

In a study of 1000 women in 2019 in the UK, 70% of participants have admitted to experiencing perimenopausal symptoms in their 30’s and 40’s, with 90% failing to recognise the immediate link to their fluctuating hormones and instead attributing symptoms to ageing, stress, anxiety and depression.

Gervase Fay continues: “We created Health & Her to help empower women with their perimenopause journey so they can better understand what is happening.  We are there from day one and we are currently supporting thousands of women in the UK to help them rediscover themselves again and reinforce that they are not alone. “

“We have a no-nonsense approach when it comes to providing advice and solutions to women who are experiencing changes that they don’t understand or comprehend.”
