Unilever launches £3.3m marketing campaign for Stork with Butter


Stork, the leading baking brand from Unilever UK, has launched a £3.3 m marketing campaign to support its newest proposition, Stork with Butter.

Airing from 15 May and running for a period of eight weeks, the TV advert will demonstrate how Stork with Butter offers consumers the best of both worlds; the perfect blend of Stork and Butter to make fluffy cakes with a delicious buttery tasty and creamy smooth icing.

The TV ad depicts two women baking cakes – one using Unilever’s latest innovation and the other using conventional block butter, designed to show how easy it is to bake using Stork with Butter from binding the ingredients together to producing a cake with a fluffy texture and buttery taste.

The closing frame shares with the viewer the campaign strapline; ‘Every Cake’s a Winner’, communicating the tried and trusted results delivered by Stork with Butter every time.

“Home Baking is a popular pastime and our new TV advert aims to excite both the occasional baker who bakes for special occasions, as well as the  30% of consumers that regularly bake from scratch at least once a week.”

The ‘Every Cakes a Winner’ campaign will also be supported by digital, PR, sponsored social media activity including YouTube, and digital activity with the Food Network.

Stork with Butter is available in 400g tub format with an RRP* of £1.99 and in retail cases of 16.
