Unity Home Shopping debuts online clothing range for over 50s men, who can’t find what they want on the high street

Unity Home Shopping has launched a new online clothing company, Pegasus, for men over 50 who find it hard to find the sizes and styles they want on the high street.

Offering smart-casual clothing, Pegasus caters for men who may have changed shape but haven’t lost their sense of style.

Founded by Graham Rubin, and developed by head of marketing, Antony Eden, former head of digital marketing at Boohoo, Pegasus is the latest addition to the Unity Home Shopping portfolio, which has over 35 years’ experience of offering two million customers high quality lifestyle products with Chums, one of the UK’s leading mail order brands.

Unity Home Shopping invested significantly in qualitative consumer market research with the 50-65 year old male demographic and discovered that many feel completely un-catered for on today’s high street, despite their desire to keep looking and feeling great.

With this feedback in mind, the brand has been developed based on the wants and needs of its audience, with a simple strapline, ‘style matters’ and an overall aim to ensure a hassle free online shopping experience.

Speaking about the brand launch, Eden said: “Our research showed a clear disconnect between the over 50s male consumer and the current clothing ranges and shopping experience offered by the high street. We wanted to fill this gap by providing a range of wearable styles and a user-friendly platform from which to buy them from.”
