URBAN eat unveils two new seasonal specials to cater for autumnal taste buds


The UK’s favourite sandwich brand, URBAN eat, has unveiled two limited-edition autumn seasonal specials as part of its expanded collection. Vegetarians will be able to enjoy the brand-new ‘Squash’d’ sandwich, whilst Herby chicken provides fans of best-selling chicken sandwiches with a delicious new flavour using the finest seasonal ingredients.

  • Squash’d – Roasted butternut squash with caramelised onion chutney and rosemary mascarpone
  • Herby Chicken – Roast chicken breast with herby houmous, tomatoes, Regato cheese, mayonnaise and salad leaves

A fifth of shoppers stated that an increase in seasonal or festive specials would encourage them to buy more food and drinks to go. Butternut squash is a staple of autumn menus and Adelie Foods believe the new exciting flavour combination will offer shoppers a different lunchtime option this season and provide a sales boost to retailers. Both products also cater for consumer demands for nutritional products that have natural ingredients, while 8 out of ten shoppers are actively trying to improve their diets.
