Waitrose is providing targeted offers with new POS

Waitrose has signed up point-of-sale marketing specialist Ecrebo to drive targeted customer engagement in all its stores across the UK.

Ecrebo’s point-of-sale marketing platform enables Waitrose to deliver targeted offers and messages to customers, based on what’s in their basket, through high quality coupons printed alongside receipts at the till.

The Ecrebo technology complements the myWaitrose loyalty programme and will be used to drive customers to money off rewards, recipe suggestions and offers introducing customers to new and relevant product areas. The contract award comes on the back of a successful trial last year and will be used as part of Waitrose’s customer relationship management programme.
