David Wood, CEO, comments on the new appointment: “Wickes has recently embarked on its journey as a standalone business and I’m delighted that Mohamed is joining us at this very exciting time. We pride ourselves on being a digitally led, service enabled business and this is a critical role for us as we build on our strengths and accelerate our digital capabilities. I’m very much looking forward to working with Mohamed to capture the many opportunities that technology affords us  to deliver the best possible experience for our customers and help them feel houseproud.”

El Fanichi comments on his new role: “I’m delighted to be joining Wickes at this key moment for the business.  Wickes is a brand that I already know and love as a customer and it’s really important to me that I work for a company with an inclusive and diverse culture that values and takes care of its people. I’m excited about how technology can help unlock the full potential of the Wickes customer proposition and can’t wait to get started.”
