Wine Vision: senior level conference for the global wine industry launches in London

A new event with big ambitions to shake up the wine industry is launching in the UK. Wine Vision is a three-day conference taking place between 18– 20 November 2013 at the London Film Museum, County Hall on London’s South Bank.

With an impressive line-up of over 75 international speakers featuring some of the top minds in the industry, the event programme has been crafted for an executive level audience. Its thrust is to inspire innovative and entrepreneurial ways to drive profitability in the wine business.

Prominent speakers – from both inside and outside the wine industry – will cover wide ranging issues, from accessing emerging markets and the latest in digital communications, to the global health issues challenging the industry and developing efficient logistics and supply chain solutions.

Some of the highlights include: Miguel A Torres Sr, president, Bodegas Torres giving a unique insight into the world of emerging markets through the eyes of one of the biggest global wine brands; Stephen Woodford, chairman, adam&eveDDB, explaining how to create an iconic brand that sets you apart; whilst an international panel will discuss the cultural and commercial challenges of operating in China. The closing debate will look at whether the wine industry needs to reinvent itself – facilitated by Mike Ratcliffe, managing director of Warwick Wine Estate & Vilafonté Vineyards, with panelists Piero Antinori, President, Antinori and Cristián López P., corporate director – Asia, Concha y Toro S.A.

In addition, the three-day programme offers a host of opportunities to network with senior decision makers at the highest level, including day two’s networking dinner taking place at London Film Museum’s Covent Garden venue.
