YAAR, the award-winning British brand behind the UK’s first range of chilled quark bars is undergoing a significant expansion by extending its range with the launch of a Double Choc SKU and securing new retail partnerships with Morrisons and Spinneys, Dubai.
These developments are central to YAAR’s strategy to secure a share of the £2.65 billion yoghurt market and meet growing demand for dairy snacks that can be consumed on-the-go. They build on the success the business has had since its launch in 2019, which has seen it sign deals to supply Sainsbury’s, Ocado and Whole Foods Market.
YAAR’s innovative chilled quark bars are a delicious alternative to indulgent yoghurts. They deliver all the goodness of dairy in a handheld snack and require absolutely no spooning. The brand will launch with three of its four editions (Double Choc, Vanilla and Cloudberry) in over 330 Morrisons stores and on Morrisons Onlineand will launch with its Vanilla and Cloudberry SKUs in Spinneys.
The new YAAR Double Choc edition has an indulgent chocolate quark core and is coated in smooth Belgian milk chocolate. YAAR bars combine the thick and creamy taste of yoghurt with the consistency and texture of cheesecake. The SKU is just 130 calories and is gluten free, suitable for vegetarians and has no artificial colours, additives or preservatives.
